NIH funded summer research internship opportunity in Cancer Research, with an emphasis on radiation biology, medical physics and medical imaging. Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Bioengineering and Computer Science Majors are encouraged to apply. 10 week summer research residency at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Designed for students interested in pursuing a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. with the ultimate goal of a career in biomedical research. Accepted students do cutting edge research under the metorship of faculty in the Departments of Radiation Oncology and Radiology at the Abramson Cancer Center. First year students also attend a didactic course on cancer and radiation biology during their time on campus. SUPERS@PENN is open to rising college Junior
