About this opportunity

For nearly 40 years, the Department of Pharmacology has sponsored a Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) designed to introduce college students to basic laboratory research. This 10-week program is sponsored by the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET). This program is dedicated to rising juniors and seniors who major in biomedical sciences, including but not limited to chemistry, biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, and others. We aim at providing students with background essential for a career in post-graduate Ph.D., Pharm.D., or MD.Ph.D. programs.
