About this opportunity
The overall goal of SURE Robotics is to expose undergraduate students to robotics research, and as a direct consequence, interest them in opportunities available through graduate study. Key elements of the program include:-10 weeks of challenging research in robotics.-Pairing each student with both a faculty advisor and a graduate student mentor.-Weekly seminars, skill development workshops and GRE preparation courses.-A monthly stipend competitive with what the students might receive from an industrial internship.-Lodging, meals, and a travel allowance for participants.-Opportunities to visit local industrial sites.-Oral and written research summaries prepared by the student participants.-Social and cultural interaction between the student participants and their graduate mentors.
