Summer REU in Computing; Infrastructure and Interaction Design for CyberPhysical Systems
University of North Carolina, Charlotte
About this opportunity
Our Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program engages undergraduate students in the state of the art in the infrastructure for cyber-physical systems, and the applications and interactions that are enabled by that infrastructure. The program immerses students in a truly collaborative research community. We teach research skills through training sessions and experiential, hands-on learning, while students are active contributors to a community of practice that includes faculty, graduate students, and peers.Students have the opportunity to explore and advance the state of the art in computer vision, visualization and visual analytics, human-computer interaction, and security for cyberphysical systems to address real-world problems with broad societal impact.
