About this opportunity

This intensive summer research program provides the opportunity to actively engage in biomedical research and provide a comprehensive mentoring experience. Students with an interest in a career in biomedical sciences or as a physician-scientist are encouraged to apply. This program focuses on a desire to build diversity in the biomedical sciences.Through this program, students have the opportunity to conduct an 8-week research project in the following areas:-Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine-Cancer Cell Biology-Cellular and Integrative Physiology-Clinical and Translational Science-Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis-Neuroscience-Pathophysiology, Rehabilitation and Performance-Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences-*Specialization in an MD/PhD Physician Scientist Pathway is also av
