About this opportunity
The Simons-NSBP Scholars Program is a unique summer research opportunity for undergraduate members of the National Society of Black Physicists. Scholars come to New York City to work with world-renowned scientists in the fields of Cosmology, Astrophysics, Quantum Physics, and Biophysics. They are immersed in an unparalleled scientific community and introduced to numerous Black physicists.• Research: Scholars work on a wide range of projects. In years past, these projects have included: modeling gravitational waves in the early universe, developing sensors for measuring the cosmic microwave background, searching for new exoplanets, exploring quantum computers, and building neural networks.
