About this opportunity

The Science Mentorship Institute, each summer, provides a research mentorship program in neuroscience with the aim to bridge the barrier in science research education for underrepresented, marginalized high school students. We pair mentors with research experience at the college level and beyond with underserved students to lead, together, an independent research project that 1) supports the mentor's development towards independent investigation and mentorship skills, and 2) supports the mentee's interest in continuing in science.The Neuroscience Mentorship Program (NMP) is a 5-week summer program that provides high school students the opportunity to develop areas of research interest within neuroscience.
