The Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program is a 10-week summer outreach program that provides a working research environment for undergraduate students. Over the course of the program, participants engage in research under the supervision of faculty and staff of the School of Physics and Astronomy. Fields of research include: - Biophysics- Elementary Particle Physics- Cosmology and Astrophysics- Physics Education- Condensed Matter Physics- Space PhysicsYou can find out more about research activities on the Research pages. Among the non-research program activities are weekly physics seminars and courses addressing rudimentary machine shop techniques, ethics in scientific research, and Physics GRE preparation.
