About this opportunity

The Maine Sea Grant education program seeks to improve marine-related K-16 educational opportunities in the state, as well as continued learning programs for educators. The program offers in-service teacher training workshops, develops formal and informal education programs related to the National Sea Grant Network’s four focus areas,* and develops curriculum materials that are aligned with state and national education standards.Beth Bisson, Maine Sea Grant's Assistant Director for Outreach and Education, works closely with the Marine Extension Team to develop and implement formal and informal K-16 education programs throughout the state, and she is a liaison to other educational organizations in the state, region, and nation.
