About this opportunity

A summer internship at Nagoya University, Japan, for six undergraduate students to do research and development on the “Neutron Optics Parity and Time Reversal EXperiment” (NOPTREX), which will investigate the matter/antimatter asymmetry of the Universe. Recruitment, selection and training will be done by the collaborating institutions: University of Kentucky, Indiana University, Berea College, Eastern Kentucky University, Western Kentucky University, Centre College, and Hendrix College. Participants will receive extensive individualized training during the prior academic year as they develop specialized hardware for the experiement to prepare them for specific tasks during their research in Japan.
