About this opportunity

Ignited is a non-profit that offers a paid professional development program for full-time K-16 teachers in the San Francisco Bay Area.Selected Fellows work full-time for 7 or 8 weeks to complete industry and research projects at companies and university labs. Fellows are paid up to $9,000 to complete an 8-week project and receive Alumni support to turn what they learn into a curriculum that engages students. Upon completing the program, teachers also become eligible to apply for Ignited's Fund for Innovation, a competitive $1,000 grant that supports exciting classroom ideas.To be eligible for the Summer Fellowship Program, teachers must have: -Completed at least two years of full-time teaching by June of the current school year. -Be committed to continuing to work in education for at least
