About this opportunity

This program is funded by the National Science Foundation, the DoD Assure program, and Coe College. Projects focus on the theme of spectroscopy within a variety of STEM disciplines. Our site includes a program for undergraduates (REU) and secondary educators (RET).The REU program offers a stipend in the amount of $5,092 -awarded to all participating students. Free on-campus housing will be provided by Coe College, and travel funds are available to assist with moving expenses.The RET program brings secondary education science teachers to campus for a research experience in one of the laboratory sciences. Participants have the opportunity to choose from the selection of projects in the REU program, attend weekly lectures, and use advanced instrumentation. A stipend of $8,343 will be paid to
