Center for Integration of Modern Optoelectronic Materials on Demand REU
University of Washington
About this opportunity
The IMOD Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program supports undergraduate students (2yr and 4yr institutions) to participate in nine- to ten weeks of authentic research across a broad range of disciplines, including chemistry, physics, materials science & engineering, and electrical & computer engineering. The research within our center focuses on theoretical and practical application of optoelectronic devices that generate, sense, and control light underpin the modern information-technology era. With a world more reliant on such devices across a wide range of industries, IMOD seeks to advances in the synthesis of highly precise materials and the integration of different materials into functional optoelectronic devices and systems.ELIGIBILITY:Undergraduate participants must be U
