CELL-MET REU Program - University of Michigan
University of Michigan
About this opportunity
The NSF Engineering Research Center in Cellular Metamaterials (CELL-MET) aims to transform cardiovascular care by combining breakthroughs in nanotechnology and manufacturing with tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. CELL-MET offers summer research opportunities through Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) programs at all three CELL-MET institutions - Boston University (lead), Florida International University, and the University of Michigan. The CELL-MET REU program focuses on cardiac tissue engineering.Participants in the CELL-MET REU program at the University of Michigan will spend 10 weeks performing research in tissue mechanics and biomaterials. Our labs are highly interdisciplinary, and all science, technology, engineering, and math majors are welcome to apply. No prio
